Corvette C7 ZR1 6.2L LT5 Tuning

Chevrolet Corvette C7 ZR1 6.2L LT5 Remote Custom Tuning with HP Tuners

N2 Speed builds custom HP Tuners calibrations for the Chevrolet Corvette C7 ZR1 6.2L LT5 and its supercharged 6.2L LT5 V8 — remotely, so your Corvette never has to sit on someone else's dyno for a week. Every file is written for your specific combination of modifications, fuel and driving use. We do not resell generic canned maps.

Tuning is handled by email and data log review: you send us your stock file and vehicle details, we build the calibration, you flash it with your HP Tuners interface, then we refine it from your logs until the car is exactly where it should be.

Chevrolet Corvette C7 ZR1 6.2L LT5 Coverage

  • 2019 Corvette ZR1 6.2 LT5 — 755 hp, 2.65L Eaton supercharger, port and direct injection
  • ZTK track performance package — same calibration platform
  • E99 controller — PCM upgrade service required before tuning
  • S53 fuel injector control module — licensed separately if the port injectors need calibration

The 2019 ZR1 uses the E99 controller, which requires HP Tuners' PCM upgrade service before it can be tuned. We handle that step for you — send your VIN first.

What Our supercharged 6.2L LT5 V8 Calibration Addresses

We focus on supercharger boost targets across both the port and direct injection systems, knock control, intake air temperature management, torque limits, launch control and 8L90 shift calibration. Common supporting modifications we tune around include upper and lower pulley, ported blower snout, long-tube headers, upgraded heat exchanger and intercooler, E85 or flex fuel, larger port injectors, nitrous.

Chevrolet Corvette C7 ZR1 6.2L LT5 Tuning Stages and Pricing

StageBuilt forTypical gainsPrice
Stage 1 — Stock & Bolt-OnsStock supercharged or turbocharged cars and builds with minor bolt-ons — exhaust, headers, intake or a ported throttle body40-60 hp on 93 octane with the factory blower and pulley$450
Stage 3 — Supercharged, Turbo & NitrousPulley, blower-swap, ported-snout, heat-exchanger, turbo and e85 builds, including a dedicated nitrous map100-300+ hp with a pulley, ported snout, upgraded heat exchanger, injectors or E85$650

There is no Stage 2 on this car. Stage 2 covers naturally aspirated cylinder heads, camshafts and stroker motors — a factory supercharged Corvette goes straight from bolt-ons to pulley, blower and E85 work, which is Stage 3.

Not sure which stage fits your build? Email a mod list to sales@n2speed.com or call (954) 406-8550 and we will tell you which package to buy — we would rather point you to the right one than sell you the wrong one.

HP Tuners Credits for the Chevrolet Corvette C7 ZR1 6.2L LT5

Total Credits Needed

Credits are how HP Tuners licenses each vehicle. They load onto your MPVI4 and are spent once, the first time the module is read. Adding transmission tuning means a second module is licensed, so the credit total goes up — the options above already include both.

  • Engine Only — 2019 LT5 - E99 PCM upgrade required: 8 Universal Credits
  • Engine and Transmission — 2019 8L90 automatic: 12 Universal Credits

Manual transmission? There is no transmission control module to calibrate, so choose Engine Only and select not applicable under Transmission Tuning.

2017 and newer automatics: the 8-speed and 10-speed T87A transmission module is locked from the factory and must go through the GM ECM and TCM unlock & programming service before it can be written. We handle that for you.

The 2019 ZR1 also uses an S53 fuel injector control module, licensed separately at 3 credits if the port injectors need calibration.

Credit requirements are set by HP Tuners and can change with model year. If your car is not listed exactly, send your VIN to sales@n2speed.com and we will confirm before you buy anything.

What Every Tune Includes

How Remote Tuning Works

  1. Order your stage. Pick the package that matches your build.
  2. Send your information. Email your VIN, mod list, fuel type and stock read to sales@n2speed.com.
  3. Flash the file. We email your calibration, normally within 1-2 business days.
  4. Log and refine. Send data logs; we revise until the LT5 is dialed in.

Revision turnaround: Revisions are done in the order they are received during business hours. Set time frames are available with notice. After-hours and weekend revisions are done when available.

GM Modules, Unlocks and Bench Work

The 2019 ZR1 runs the E99 controller, which requires HP Tuners' PCM upgrade service before it can be tuned — we handle that step for you. The 8L90 transmission module also needs our GM ECM and TCM unlock & programming service before it can be written. For modules that will not communicate we offer GM PCM bench tuning service. Send your VIN and we will confirm the route before you spend anything.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a Chevrolet Corvette C7 ZR1 6.2L LT5 tune cost?

Our Chevrolet Corvette C7 ZR1 6.2L LT5 HP Tuners remote tunes are $450 for Stage 1 and $650 for Stage 3. Pricing includes revisions after we review your data logs.

How much horsepower will a tune add to my Chevrolet Corvette C7 ZR1 6.2L LT5?

On 93 octane a Stage 1 calibration typically returns 40-60 hp on 93 octane with the factory blower and pulley. Stage 3 builds see 100-300+ hp with a pulley, ported snout, upgraded heat exchanger, injectors or E85. Actual results depend on your modifications, fuel quality, altitude and ambient temperature.

Do I need to unlock anything before tuning?

Yes. The 2019 ZR1 uses the E99 controller, which requires HP Tuners' PCM upgrade service before it can be tuned. The 8L90 transmission module also needs our GM ECM and TCM unlock & programming service. Send your VIN and we will quote the exact path.

How many HP Tuners credits do I need?

  • Engine Only — 2019 LT5 - E99 PCM upgrade required: 8 Universal Credits
  • Engine and Transmission — 2019 8L90 automatic: 12 Universal Credits
Credits are licensed per module, so adding transmission tuning increases the total. The credit options on each product page already include the right count.

Can you tune the transmission too?

Yes, on automatic cars. Transmission tuning sharpens shift points, firmness and torque limiting, and it is where a heavy build gains most of its drivability. It licenses a second module, so the credit count goes up — the option on each product page already accounts for it.

What equipment do I need for remote tuning?

An HP Tuners interface — we recommend the HP Tuners MPVI4 with Pro Feature Set — the credits for your vehicle, a Windows laptop with VCM Suite installed, and an internet connection. A wideband air/fuel gauge is recommended for Stage 2 and required for Stage 3. You can add the interface and credits to your order.

How long does the tuning process take?

Your first calibration is normally emailed within 1-2 business days of us receiving your vehicle information and stock file. Revisions are done in the order they are received during business hours. Set time frames are available with notice. After-hours and weekend revisions are done when available.

Can you tune a completely stock Chevrolet Corvette C7 ZR1 6.2L LT5?

Yes. A stock supercharged 6.2L LT5 V8 still leaves power, throttle response and transmission behaviour on the table. Stage 1 is designed exactly for stock and lightly modified vehicles.

Will a custom tune affect my factory warranty?

Modifying the factory calibration can affect powertrain warranty coverage. We recommend returning to the stock file before any dealer visit. Full terms appear on each product page.
