Corvette C6 ZR1 6.2L LS9 Tuning
Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZR1 6.2L LS9 Remote Custom Tuning with HP Tuners
N2 Speed builds custom HP Tuners calibrations for the Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZR1 6.2L LS9 and its supercharged 6.2L LS9 V8 — remotely, so your Corvette never has to sit on someone else's dyno for a week. Every file is written for your specific combination of modifications, fuel and driving use. We do not resell generic canned maps.
Tuning is handled by email and data log review: you send us your stock file and vehicle details, we build the calibration, you flash it with your HP Tuners interface, then we refine it from your logs until the car is exactly where it should be.
Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZR1 6.2L LS9 Coverage
- 2009-2013 Corvette ZR1 6.2 LS9 — 638 hp, 2.3L Eaton four-lobe supercharger
- TR6060 6-speed manual — no transmission module to license
- Titanium rods and dry-sump oiling — calibration keeps factory safety margins
- All cars — unlocked ECM, flashes through OBD-II
The C6 ZR1 is manual only, so there is no transmission module to license. The ECM is unlocked and flashes through the OBD-II port.
What Our supercharged 6.2L LS9 V8 Calibration Addresses
We focus on supercharger boost targets, knock control, intake air temperature management under sustained load, torque limits, dry-sump oil temperature thresholds and launch control. Common supporting modifications we tune around include upper and lower pulley, ported blower snout, long-tube headers, upgraded heat exchanger and intercooler, E85 or flex fuel, larger injectors, nitrous.
Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZR1 6.2L LS9 Tuning Stages and Pricing
| Stage | Built for | Typical gains | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stage 1 — Stock & Bolt-Ons | Stock supercharged or turbocharged cars and builds with minor bolt-ons — exhaust, headers, intake or a ported throttle body | 30-50 hp on 93 octane with the factory blower and pulley | $450 |
| Stage 3 — Supercharged, Turbo & Nitrous | Pulley, blower-swap, ported-snout, heat-exchanger, turbo and e85 builds, including a dedicated nitrous map | 80-250+ hp with a pulley, ported snout, upgraded heat exchanger, blower swap or E85 | $650 |
There is no Stage 2 on this car. Stage 2 covers naturally aspirated cylinder heads, camshafts and stroker motors — a factory supercharged Corvette goes straight from bolt-ons to pulley, blower and E85 work, which is Stage 3.
Not sure which stage fits your build? Email a mod list to sales@n2speed.com or call (954) 406-8550 and we will tell you which package to buy — we would rather point you to the right one than sell you the wrong one.
HP Tuners Credits for the Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZR1 6.2L LS9
Total Credits Needed
Credits are how HP Tuners licenses each vehicle. They load onto your MPVI4 and are spent once, the first time the module is read. Adding transmission tuning means a second module is licensed, so the credit total goes up — the options above already include both.
- Engine Only — 2009-2013: 2 Universal Credits
Manual only. This car was never built with an automatic, so there is no transmission control module to license — engine credits are all you need.
Credit requirements are set by HP Tuners and can change with model year. If your car is not listed exactly, send your VIN to sales@n2speed.com and we will confirm before you buy anything.

GM Modules, Unlocks and Bench Work
Chevrolet does not lock this Corvette's engine computer the way Stellantis locks 2015 and newer Dodge PCMs, so tuning is a straight OBD-II flash — no unlock service needed. For modules that are damaged or will not communicate we offer GM PCM bench tuning service. Send your VIN and we will confirm before you spend anything.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZR1 6.2L LS9 tune cost?
Our Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZR1 6.2L LS9 HP Tuners remote tunes are $450 for Stage 1 and $650 for Stage 3. Pricing includes revisions after we review your data logs.
How much horsepower will a tune add to my Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZR1 6.2L LS9?
On 93 octane a Stage 1 calibration typically returns 30-50 hp on 93 octane with the factory blower and pulley. Stage 3 builds see 80-250+ hp with a pulley, ported snout, upgraded heat exchanger, blower swap or E85. Actual results depend on your modifications, fuel quality, altitude and ambient temperature.
Do I need to unlock anything before tuning?
No. Unlike 2015 and newer Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and RAM vehicles, the Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZR1 6.2L LS9 ECM is not locked. You read the stock file and flash our calibration straight through the OBD-II port. If a module is damaged or will not communicate we also offer GM PCM bench tuning service.
How many HP Tuners credits do I need?
- Engine Only — 2009-2013: 2 Universal Credits
Can you tune the transmission too?
This car is manual only, so there is nothing to calibrate on the transmission side.
What equipment do I need for remote tuning?
An HP Tuners interface — we recommend the HP Tuners MPVI4 with Pro Feature Set — the credits for your vehicle, a Windows laptop with VCM Suite installed, and an internet connection. A wideband air/fuel gauge is recommended for Stage 2 and required for Stage 3. You can add the interface and credits to your order.
How long does the tuning process take?
Your first calibration is normally emailed within 1-2 business days of us receiving your vehicle information and stock file. Revisions are done in the order they are received during business hours. Set time frames are available with notice. After-hours and weekend revisions are done when available.
Can you tune a completely stock Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZR1 6.2L LS9?
Yes. A stock supercharged 6.2L LS9 V8 still leaves power, throttle response and transmission behaviour on the table. Stage 1 is designed exactly for stock and lightly modified vehicles.
Will a custom tune affect my factory warranty?
Modifying the factory calibration can affect powertrain warranty coverage. We recommend returning to the stock file before any dealer visit. Full terms appear on each product page.
