Jeep Computer Tuning & Custom Remote Tunes
N2 Speed writes custom Jeep tunes for the Wrangler, Gladiator and Grand Cherokee — from a stock 3.6L Pentastar on 37s to a supercharged 392 or a pulleyed Trackhawk. Every calibration is written for your exact modifications, fuel, tire size and gearing. We do not resell generic canned maps.
Jeep tuning is done remotely with HP Tuners or DiabloSport: you flash the file at home and we refine it from your data logs. We focus on spark and fuel tables, throttle response, torque management, tire and axle ratio correction, and 8-speed shift scheduling.

Factory ratings are SAE net crank figures published by the manufacturer. All N2 Speed gains are quoted as wheel horsepower and wheel torque measured on the dyno, which read lower than crank numbers.
How Remote Jeep Tuning Works
- Order your stage on your Jeep's engine page.
- Send your information — VIN, mod list, fuel and stock read to sales@n2speed.com.
- Flash the file — your custom calibration is emailed, normally within 1-2 business days.
- Log and refine — send data logs and we revise until it is dialed in. Tuning is log-based, not live; we can coordinate a local dyno appointment if you want faster revisions.
What You Need
- An HP Tuners interface — MPVI2, MPVI3 and MPVI4, plus RTD — with credits for your Jeep (2022+ Wrangler and Gladiator GPEC5 require an MPVI4). An MPVI4 with credits can be added when you order.
- A Windows laptop with HP Tuners VCM Suite
- A wideband air/fuel gauge for Stage 3 builds
- 2018+ Jeeps: a security bypass cable ($89, available as an add-on)
Locked Jeep PCMs (2015+)
Stellantis locks the PCM on 2015 and newer Jeeps. We unlock them through our Dodge, RAM & Jeep PCM unlock service — mail-in unlock $199.99, or a BIN file unlock for $49.99 on GPEC and GPEC2A modules with no shipping. Modules that need to be written on the bench go through our Jeep PCM bench tuning service. Send your VIN and we will confirm which route yours needs before you spend anything.

How much does it cost to tune a Jeep?
N2 Speed custom Jeep tunes are $450 for Stage 1 (stock and bolt-on builds), $550 for Stage 2 (HEMI heads, cam or stroker builds and Trackhawk pulley builds — not offered on the 3.6L Pentastar) and $650 for Stage 3 (supercharged, turbocharged or nitrous builds). Transmission tuning for the 8-speed automatic adds $200. Revisions after data log review are included.

Do I have to bring my Jeep to your shop?
No. Jeep tuning at N2 Speed is done remotely and is based on data logs: you send your stock read, VIN and mod list, we email a custom calibration, you flash it with your HP Tuners interface and send logs back for revisions. We do not live-tune over the internet. If you want faster revisions, we can coordinate a dyno appointment at a shop near you.
Do I need to unlock my Jeep PCM before tuning?
2015 and newer Jeep PCMs are locked by Stellantis against aftermarket writing. We unlock them with our mail-in PCM unlock service ($199.99), or with a BIN file unlock ($49.99, GPEC and GPEC2A modules, no shipping needed). 2018 and newer Jeeps also need a security bypass cable ($89) to flash through the OBD-II port. Send us your VIN and we will confirm what yours needs.
What equipment do I need to tune my Jeep?
An HP Tuners interface (MPVI2, MPVI3 and MPVI4, plus RTD) with credits for your vehicle, and a Windows laptop running VCM Suite. 2022 and newer Wrangler and Gladiator 3.6L models with the GPEC5 PCM require an MPVI4. You can add an MPVI4 with the right number of credits as an option when you order any Jeep tune.
How many HP Tuners credits does a Jeep need?
Most Jeep engine-only tunes take 2 credits, and engine plus 8-speed transmission tuning takes 6. 2022 and newer Wrangler and Gladiator 3.6L models with the GPEC5 PCM take 4 credits engine-only and 8 with the transmission. Each Jeep engine page lists the exact count for your model year.
Can you correct my speedometer and shift points for bigger tires and a re-gear?
Yes. Tire size and axle ratio correction are part of every Wrangler, Gladiator and Rubicon 392 calibration, and with transmission tuning we also re-schedule the 8-speed shift points for the larger tires.
How much horsepower will a tune add to my Jeep?
Stage 1 typically adds 15-25 wheel horsepower on a 3.6L Pentastar, 20-30 on a 5.7L HEMI, 25-35 on a 6.4L 392 and 30-50 on a stock Trackhawk, all on 93 octane. Supercharged and turbo Stage 3 builds see far more. Actual gains depend on your modifications, fuel, altitude and temperature.
