HP Tuners at N2 Speed
HP Tuners is the professional standard for tuning GM, Dodge, Ram, Jeep, Chrysler and Ford vehicles. The MPVI4 interface plus VCM Editor and VCM Scanner let you read, edit and write the ECU and TCM and datalog in real time. N2 Speed sells the hardware and the custom calibrations that go on it, plus the unlock services that many late-model vehicles require first.
Unlock services
Late-model PCMs and ECMs ship locked. We perform the 2015+ Dodge / Ram / Jeep PCM unlock, the GM E99 upgrade service and the GM E68 ECM unlock for Corvette Z06 and ZR1, so an HP Tuners device can write to the module.
What you need to tune
An MPVI interface, VCM Suite (free download), enough credits licensed to your VIN, and on 2018 and newer Dodge, Jeep, Ram and Chrysler vehicles a Smart Access cable. A PCM unlock is also required on those vehicles.

HP Tuners FAQ
What is the difference between the MPVI4 and the RTD?
The MPVI4 is a full tuning interface for someone editing calibrations in VCM Suite. The RTD is a tune delivery device: your tuner sends the calibration to your phone through the Tune Delivery Network app and you flash the vehicle from the OBDII port without a laptop. If you want N2 Speed to do the tuning, the RTD path is simpler.
Do I need credits with HP Tuners?
Yes. Credits license the interface to a specific VIN. Every new vehicle you want to read and write requires credits, and they are not transferable once applied.
Why does my 2015+ Dodge or Ram need a PCM unlock?
FCA locked the PCM from the factory on 2015 and newer vehicles, so no tuning tool can write to it as delivered. Our unlock service removes that restriction. On 2018 and newer vehicles a Smart Access cable is also required to get past the Security Gateway.
What is the GM E99 upgrade and the E68 unlock?
Both are module-level services for locked GM controllers. The E99 upgrade service covers late-model GM ECMs and the E68 ECM unlock covers the Corvette Z06 and ZR1, allowing HP Tuners to read and write those modules.

Does HP Tuners work on a Mac?
VCM Suite is Windows software. It runs on a Mac only through Windows in Boot Camp, Parallels or a similar virtual machine.
