Description

PCM Cloning Service – GPEC and GPEC2 Powertrain Control Modules

Our PCM Cloning Service transfers all critical data from your original GPEC and GPEC2 Powertrain Control Module (PCM) to a replacement unit, restoring full vehicle functionality without dealer programming or security relearns.

This service is ideal for failed, water-damaged, or replacement PCMs where retaining the original vehicle configuration is required. Typical turnaround is 1–2 business days after your modules arrive.

What Is PCM Cloning?

PCM cloning duplicates the internal data from your original PCM—including vehicle-specific calibration, VIN and configuration—and writes it to a compatible replacement module. The result is a plug-and-play PCM that operates exactly like the original.

GPEC and GPEC2 — What You Should Know

GPEC (Global Powertrain Engine Controller) replaced NGC on FCA platforms. First-generation GPEC and GPEC2 use the MPC5566 processor with a 3MB flash file, and are found on roughly 2011–2014 vehicles. GPEC2 is often confused with GPEC2A — GPEC2A uses the larger MPC5674F (4MB) processor. If your PCM label or read file is 3MB, this is the correct service; 4MB modules should use our GPEC2A cloning service.

What’s Included

  • Complete data transfer from your original GPEC and GPEC2 PCM
  • VIN, immobilizer (SKIM) and vehicle configuration retention where applicable
  • Calibration and diagnostic data duplication
  • Bench-level service performed with professional equipment
  • Quality-checked replacement PCM ready for installation

Benefits

  • No dealership programming required
  • Eliminates security or VIN mismatch issues
  • Faster turnaround compared to dealer replacement
  • Maintains factory drivability and tuning data
  • Cost-effective solution for PCM failure

Common Use Cases

  • No-start or intermittent PCM failure
  • Water or corrosion-damaged modules
  • Replacement or used PCM installation
  • Avoiding immobilizer or security relearns

Vehicle Compatibility

  • Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and RAM vehicles approx. 2011–2014 with GPEC / GPEC2 PCM — 3.6L Pentastar, 5.7L HEMI, 6.4L SRT (Charger, Challenger, 300, Grand Cherokee WK2, Durango WD, RAM 1500)
  • Compatibility is verified prior to service — send your VIN and PCM part number if unsure

How the Process Works

  1. Ship your original and replacement PCM to our facility
  2. We extract and duplicate the required data
  3. Data is transferred to a compatible replacement PCM
  4. The cloned PCM is returned, ready to install

Important Notes

  • This is a service, not a physical product unless otherwise specified
  • Original PCM must be readable to complete cloning
  • Replacement PCM availability varies — contact us if you need us to supply one
  • Vehicle compatibility confirmation required before purchase
  • Custom tuned cloned PCMs should be data logged and verified after installation
