A fully custom HP Tuners calibration for your Sierra 1500 6.2L V8, written by N2 Speed for complete builds with a supercharger or turbo kit, including a dedicated nitrous map. This is not a canned file: we build the calibration around your VIN, your modification list and the fuel you actually run, then refine it from your data logs.

Expected Gains
Typical results: 150+ hp depending on blower or turbo choice, boost level and fuel. Gains vary with modifications, fuel quality, altitude and ambient temperature. We calibrate for reliable, repeatable power — not a dyno number you cannot drive.
What We Tune
- Spark and fuel tables, torque management, throttle mapping and 6L80, 8L90 and 10L80 automatics shift scheduling
- Wide-open-throttle and part-throttle fueling
- Ignition timing with knock-safe margins for your fuel
- Throttle mapping and torque management limits
- Transmission shift points, firmness and torque limiting where applicable
- Optional AFM or DFM cylinder deactivation disable, speed limiter removal and tow-haul tweaks
- A dedicated nitrous map on request, built for your shot size and fuel

HP Tuners Credits This Vehicle Needs
Credits are how HP Tuners licenses each vehicle. They load onto your MPVI interface and are spent once, the first time the module is read. Adding transmission tuning licenses a second module, so the credit total goes up.
- Engine only, 2007-2016: 2 Universal Credits
- Engine only, 2017-2018: 4 Universal Credits
- Engine only, 2019-2022 (Global A, MPVI2 or newer): 6 Universal Credits
- Engine only, 2022.5-2026 (Global B, MPVI3 or newer): 8 Universal Credits
- Add transmission (6L80, 8L90 T87A or T93, 10L80): 4 additional credits
Credit requirements are set by HP Tuners and change with model year and controller generation. If your truck is not listed exactly, send your VIN to sales@n2speed.com and we will confirm before you buy anything.
What You Need
- HP Tuners MPVI4 with Pro Feature Set or another HP Tuners interface, plus credits for your vehicle
- Windows laptop with HP Tuners VCM Suite installed
- Ability to record and send data logs
- Wideband air/fuel gauge — strongly recommended for this stage
HP Tuners RTD / TDN Network: We can also work with the HP Tuners RTD interface and the TDN (Tuner Dealer Network) — if you already run an RTD or are set up on TDN, we can deliver and revise your calibration through the network instead of emailing files. Revision turnaround: Revisions are done in the order they are received during business hours. Set time frames are available with notice. After-hours and weekend revisions are done when available.
Locked ECM? Silverado and Sierra Unlock Services
Many late-model GM trucks ship with a locked ECM that has to be unlocked before any tuner can write to it. N2 Speed handles that in house:
- E90 ECM — 2019-2022 Silverado and Sierra 1500 5.3L (L84) and 6.2L (L87). GM E90 ECM Unlock Service
- E93 ECM — 2020-2023 Silverado and Sierra 2500/3500 6.6L (L8T) and 2021.5 1500 5.3L. GM E93 ECM Unlock Service
- Once unlocked, the ECM licenses for 6 Universal Credits and is tuned normally through the OBD-II port.
- The T43 TCM used with many E93 trucks needs no unlock and is free to license. The 2017 and newer T87A 8-speed and 10-speed TCMs do need an unlock before transmission tuning.
- Older Global A trucks (roughly 2018 and earlier) read and write through the OBD-II port with no unlock.
