How Remote Tuning Works
- Order your stage. Pick the package that matches your build.
- Send your information. Email your VIN, mod list, fuel type and stock read to sales@n2speed.com.
- Flash the file. We email your calibration, normally within 1-2 business days.
- Log and refine. Send data logs; we revise until the 3.5L is dialed in.
Locked Ford PCMs
Ford locks some later PCMs against aftermarket writing. If your vehicle cannot be flashed through the OBD-II port, we handle it with our mail-in Ford PCM & TCM unlocking service, and we also offer PCM bench tuning service for modules that need to be written on the bench. Send your VIN and we will confirm which route yours needs before you spend anything.

Do I need to unlock my PCM before tuning?
HP Tuners writes to most 2017-2025 Raptor, 2nd and 3rd generation 3.5L HO EcoBoost PCMs through the OBD-II port using credits. Some later Ford PCMs are locked and need our mail-in Ford PCM & TCM unlocking service or PCM bench tuning service first. If you are unsure, send us your VIN and we will tell you which path your truck or car needs.

Your first calibration is normally emailed within 1-2 business days of us receiving your vehicle information and stock file. Revisions after a data log are usually returned same day or next business day.
Can you tune a completely stock Ford F-150 Raptor?
Yes. A stock 3.5L High Output EcoBoost twin-turbo V6 still leaves power, throttle response and transmission behaviour on the table. Stage 1 is designed exactly for stock and lightly modified vehicles.
Will a custom tune affect my factory warranty?
