Typical results: 70-120 hp with a cam package, cylinder head work or a stroker build. Gains vary with modifications, fuel quality, altitude and ambient temperature. We calibrate for reliable, repeatable power — not a dyno number you cannot drive.

- 6.1l spark and fuel tables, the aggressive srt throttle and torque management strategy, closed-loop fueling, cooling fan and rev limits, and w5a580 5-speed shift firmness and part-throttle behaviour
- Wide-open-throttle and part-throttle fueling
- Ignition timing with knock-safe margins for your fuel
- Throttle mapping and torque management limits
- W5A580 5-speed shift points, firmness and torque limiting when transmission tuning is added
- Speed limiter removal, cooling fan and rev limit adjustments on request
Vehicle Fitment
2008-2010 Dodge Challenger SRT8 6.1L HEMI (LC). The 6.1L uses the pre-2015 NGC PCM and flashes through the OBD-II port, so no unlock service or security bypass cable is needed.

- HP Tuners MPVI4 with Pro Feature Set or another HP Tuners interface, plus 2 credits for this vehicle
- A Windows laptop with HP Tuners VCM Suite installed
- Ability to record and send data logs
- Wideband air/fuel gauge — recommended for this stage
HP Tuners Credits Needed
Credits are how HP Tuners licenses a vehicle. They load onto your interface and are spent once, the first time the module is read.
- Engine Only — 2008-2010 6.1L HEMI: 2 Universal Credits
The 6.1L SRT8 uses the W5A580 5-speed automatic, which HP Tuners does not license as a separate controller, so transmission work is sold as tuning labor rather than extra credits.
Six-speed manual SRT8? There is no transmission control module to calibrate, so you only ever need the 2 engine credits.
