Vehicle Fitment
2015-2019 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 supercharged 6.2L LT4 (7-speed manual or 8L90 automatic). The LT4 ECM flashes through the OBD-II port. 2017 and newer automatics need HP Tuners' GM TCM unlock service before the 8L90 can be written — send your VIN and we will confirm.

Total Credits Needed
Credits are how HP Tuners licenses each vehicle. They load onto your MPVI4 and are spent once, the first time the module is read. Adding transmission tuning means a second module is licensed, so the credit total goes up — the options above already include both.
- Engine Only — 2015-2016: 2 Universal Credits
- Engine Only — 2017-2019: 4 Universal Credits
- Engine and Transmission — 2015-2016 8L90 automatic: 6 Universal Credits
- Engine and Transmission — 2017-2019 8L90 automatic: 8 Universal Credits
Manual transmission? There is no transmission control module to calibrate, so choose Engine Only and select not applicable under Transmission Tuning.
2017 and newer automatics: the 8-speed and 10-speed T87A transmission module is locked from the factory and must go through the GM ECM and TCM unlock & programming service before it can be written. We handle that for you.

Revision turnaround: Revisions are done in the order they are received during business hours. Set time frames are available with notice. After-hours and weekend revisions are done when available.
Locked Modules?
Chevrolet does not lock the Corvette engine computer the way Stellantis locks 2015 and newer Dodge PCMs, so engine tuning is a straight OBD-II flash. The exception is the 2017 and newer 8-speed T87A transmission module, which needs our GM ECM and TCM unlock & programming service before it can be written. For modules that are damaged or will not communicate we also offer GM PCM bench tuning service.
